The body often holds the impact of religious control long after the teachings lose their power.
Fear and shame can settle into the body. The nervous system learns to brace or stay small. That can still linger.
This nature-drenched course offers a gentle space to understand what your body learned and begin feeling at home in yourself again.
You'll learn to:
-
Recognize how high-control religious environments shaped your body’s activation and settling patterns.
-
Understand fight, flight, freeze, and fawn as protective adaptations your body intelligently developed.
-
Track sensation with steadiness, allowing your body to be felt without judgment or override.
-
Rebuild internal safety that may have been organized around external authority.
-
Strengthen boundaries as lived, physical experiences — sensing your own edges from within.
This is experiential work. Transformation happens through the felt sense — in your animal body — as you practice the movements, tools, tracking, and rituals. You're understanding the change and embodying it.
An Invitation to Embody the Change
A guided, nature-infused journey weaving nervous system education, somatic practice, movement, and ritual — designed for integration, steadiness, and choice.
Each module weaves together clear nervous system education, thoughtful reflection on how certain doctrines shaped the body’s sense of safety, guided somatic practice, and intentional movement — filmed outdoors in natural settings.
Inside the course, you’ll experience:
-
Grounded nervous system education you can return to again and again
-
Gentle unpacking of doctrine/teachings that may have registered as threat in the body
-
Movement practices designed to soften freeze and restore flow
-
A downloadable audio for nervous system settling, orientation, and ongoing somatic practice
-
A practical somatic tool you can use throughout your life
-
A closing ritual to mark the transition into a more empowered, embodied self.
“This course helped me understand what my body had been holding for years. (yikes!) The nervous system teaching made sense of what was going on in my body, but it was the tools and rituals that actually shifted something. I feel clearer and more in tune with myself and what I want now."
– EJEME
